Les Schettkoe was born in 1975 in the Bronx NY. Shortly after, his parents moved to Southern California. Growing up on a diet of cartoons, skateboarding and BMX, art was always a part of his life but he didn’t consider it his profession until later in his career. Les opened the record store Zenbeats in 1999 ,and began doing graphic design for album covers and tees for various artists and companies. Later on, after deciding to close his store, he was approached by Disney to come on board to work in their licensing department where he created specialty projects. During this time, he also connected Disney with streetwear brands & artists for special collaborations. After leaving Disney, Les started Division Creative Foundry, a design and consulting firm. Les continues to work as an independent designer representing Division and The Seventh Letter and lives in Southern California with his wife Boonstree and son Logan.
