5.18.09 CAMP PENDELTON JUMP SHOW
Last Friday, Taka, Fitz, Ox, and Hagy put on a free FMX demo for the Marines at the Camp Pendelton base during Motorcycle Fest. The event was held exclusively for the troops and their families. It was amazing to see how many of them were motorcycle enthusiasts and how excited they all were to watch the demo. The guys gave it their all despite strong winds from the shore. They weren’t going to let that get in the way of putting on a killer show for the most gnarly people in the world. Afterwards, the boys signed autographs for the fans till everyone got one.
In between the two show, the Marines were kind enough to give us a glimpse into their world. They took us to their active helicopter airfield. We aren’t talking an airfield museum here. We were sitting in the cockpit of the sickest anti-terror machines known to man! Unfortunately, we were not able to go for a ride, but they were nice enough to let us play with tank piercing machine guns. I think Taka might have been there spying for the Japanese Government, so be on the look out for him. Just kidding, of course! A special thanks goes out to all the troops for all their hard work and dedication for keeping our country safe.
