8.3.08 JEREMY LUSK WINS X-GAMES GOLD MOTOX FREESTYLE
Day 3 of X-Games 14 comes to an end and Jeremy Lusk ads a Gold medal in MotoX Freestyle to yesterdays Silver medal in Best Trick. Jeremy rode great all day and had some of the highest scores in the competition with some solid and fully extended flip combinations. After all the competitors took their runs, the final four were Lusk, Twitch, Mason, and Rebeaud. The format was a heads up competition. Mason and Rebeaud would go head to head and the winner of that match would face the winner of Lusk and Twitch. Rebeaud rode well and had some good flip combinations advancing him into the Gold medal round. Next up Lusk and Twitch. Lusk went first and had a solid run with some great fully extended flips. Twitch had his work cut out for him but half way through his run his bike had a mishap and he was out of the competition leaving him in 4th place and no medal. With a dead sailor in Rebeaud’s final run it left the doors wide open for Lusk to take home Gold. Lusk’s final run was another solid and flawless run and when the scoring was in, Lusk earned his first, of many to come, Gold medals. i m very sorry for the lost… i believed that jeremy was a big inspiration for the dirt bikers here in nicaragua.

Jeremy Lusk has to be ultimatey my favorite FMX rider of all time. he did some crazy shit, and for that he will never be forgotten. And For my junior paper, we had to pick 3 people that have inspired us in some way, and i picked Jeremy Lusk, Brian Deegan and Ricky Carmichael. They have all made it clear of what riding is really about and they have made their mark in history of bein the best. I just wanna thank you for always bringing the craziest shit to the table. U Will me missed Rip Pitbull
