1.31.08 BEING ON THE NORTH SHORE OF OAHU AT THE PIPE MASTERS
Leaving cold windy rainy San Diego is an easy task when knowing that you’re on your way to spend 18 days in paradise.
Once arriving into the San Diego airport or any where you decide to depart from and travel to Hawaii, I guarantee that you will run into someone you know. Like here Chris Cote from Transworld Surf Magazine.
Being on the North Shore of Oahu has a lot to offer besides the land of Gods country and big surf.
If you did not have a chance to be at the Pipeline Masters, the waves were very small so outside of surfing here is what goes on behind the scenes. Check out the boy’s lifestyle at the Quicksilver, Volcom, Oakley houses, and all of the industry heads and pro athletes.
The locals were frustrated due to lack of swell and big surf, but they had all kept there aloha and showed their Hawaiian hospitality letting us all experience there lifestyle, bbq’s and music.
Here is a view of living the dream being a pro surfer on the North Shore of Oahu.
