The January 08 issue of Slap just arrived at the office today, and man is it a good issue. From front to back cover the issue doesn’t dissapoint. In the issue you can spend a week with John Rattray. The 10-page interview is impressive. Corey Duffel and Stu Graham both have mini interviews in the Under The Influence section. The issue is a must see, so go where you must and get a copy.

The Metal Mulisha and Callum

Earlier this week Osiris team riders OX, Lusk and Hagy along with the rest of the Mulisha members did a good deed. A kid by the name of Callum requested through the Make-a-Wish foundation that he wanted to hang out with the Metal Mulisha for a day. His wish come true. The Make-a-Wish foundation flew Callum and the rest of his family from the land down under for a day at the Mulisha compound. Callum couldn’t have come to visit at a better time. After weekend of rain, the dirt was good giving Callum one of the best ever private riding sessions to watch. We all put on a show and had some lunch. There is nothing better than putting a smile on a kids face. Good luck Callum! For more photos the day check out the Mulisha site.

Our good friend, Hector Garcia, just sent me an email regarding the premiere, which was held in Barcelona a week or two ago. The words below are his.

When times on vices arrives, in a tiny pub with as many drinks as balls has a wheel bearing, the last Osiris video was projected in the city centre of Barcelona. Most well-known skaters and friends were there such as Dominic Dietrick, Luypa Sing, Kenny Reed, Pirca Polaris, Ero Antila, Lee Smith, Janny Laitaila; amongst the local skaters were Dani Lebron, El Negro de Chiclana, Los Jerezanos, Los Locales de Sants, La Peña de Sabadell, Los Brasileños and Diego Bucchieri’s Argentinian friends, and many other people from the gossip column like Patxi Pardiñas, Gastón, Alex Braza, Javi Dogway… all of them contributed enormously to make an unforgettable racket!

The guiltiest of the racket were Alberto and Raquel, who are in charge of Niuark, Osiris distributor, Spain. This couple is brilliant! I definitely take my hat off to them!

In this kind of events, as usually, people came in reluctant about the new video, commenting things like: “this is a new video… let’s see… how’s it gonna be… let’s see what happens… ummmm…” However, the result was obvious, people began to drink and consequently people began to relieve all their inhibitions to make out of a simple presentation, a five stars presentation! Even more excitement was arisen when shouts and claps made the background of the super high level of tricks in the video. All in all, what a mess we made!!!! A crazy party!

So, you will be able to delight soon the new video, which is absolutely great and really nice!

That night, drinks went up and down all night long. Even the palm trees that decorated the pub went white to see us laughing so loud, going crazy and partying! All was really nice, very exciting! Thanks a million for everything Osiris family!!!!!!
