News From Osiris

After a long night in Hood River, we awoke early to head to Salem for a signing at Fuel, which was about 2 hours away. Before we could hit the road we headed over to the IPS shop and signed a couple of boards for the shops wall. As we shared stories from the happenings of the previous night we made our way to Fuel. The rain came down, and being that we are all from California, we don’t drive so well in the rain. This time around, there was no throwing up, so that was a plus. We stopped by a Flying J to grab some snacks, and Jimmy got a sweet “I love chocolate” tee. Of course we were late to Fuel, but the kids were patient, and all of them got their posters and body parts signed. The kids love Corey. Thanks to John from Fuel for setting up the event. After the Fuel signing, we grabbed some food and headed to Dokument Skate Shop that was also in Salem for a surprise visit. We dropped off a few copies of our video, and the kids that were hanging out got a nice little surprise for the day. Needless to say the kids were psyched to meet Corey, Jimmy, Stu and Shuriken. After Dokument visit, we headed back to Portland to check into our hotel, get some dinner, and then we went over to the Department of Skateboarding for a little after hours session, Thanks to all the guys at the Department for letting us skate. The park was sick, and everyone had a good time. After the session we headed back to the hotel, hung out at a local bar, and then called it a night before any head butts came into play.
