Nick Diaz fought a very hard fight but pulled a split decision win over the very tough Mike Aina. Diaz, finished strong enough in the third round to pull of the victory. The fans have been hammering for another fight against the legendary Takori Gomi. After the two beat each other to a bloody pulp, Diaz submitted him with a very technical gogopalata! Expect to see a rematch with Takori Gomi very soon!
Mayhem Miller is final negotiations for his next fight!!!!! Stay tuned.

Osiris amateurs are going through my competitive training boot camp and gearing up for the NSSA season. I am utterly impressed with the determination and drive that is being displayed by these cadets. Each session is getting more intense with running, paddling focusing, visualizing and surfing heats. These kids want to become the best that they can be. The training consists of them learning how to build relations with photographers, filmmakers, sponsors, other competitors, and clarifying what they are going to accomplish in and out of the water.
I have hand selected an elite group of kids that I believe will be a threat in the years to come in the surf industry. The cadets are pushing themselves and are all motivated to winning the drills. Incentives like guest appearances, product, photos, surfing with the pros, traveling to secret spots and going to selected events keep the cadets on there toes.

I was asked by the cadets not to disclose the information of what is going on in the training but only show the surf images. The cadets have expressed that they want the competitive edge. So here are a couple of our sessions and I just want to let you know that these cadets are all on their way to fulfilling their wildest dreams and shocking the surfing industry. Stay updated to see who is going to win the prize of the overall performance and qualify for the surf trip and the ad in Surfer magazine.

ASR was a huge success as we unveiled our Spring 08 shoe collection. The booth was constantly popping off with riders, buyers, distributors and models. The action was non-stop as Osiris was the first to have Guitar Hero III being displayed and played at the booth, the trailer of Osiris’ new skateboarding video Feed the Need, and a signing with our professional surfers, Cheyne Magnusson, Chad Jackson and Danny Fuller, as a flurry of heads crowded the booth for photo ops, conversation, and a poster to take home.
If you haven’t yet been to a tradeshow here is a small preview of what it consists of. Being in this industry and preparing to show your line at your booth is all about creating a buzz about your product. Words out that our product is hot, our riders are all over the map in the magazines, television, videos, competitions, and traveling. Osiris supports the team and their lifestyles in and out of the water. If you run into any of our pros and would like to chat with them, they are very humble, personable and willing to answer questions, hang out and just have a good time. Don’t be afraid to approach or contact us about who, what, when or where our guys are going to be next.
