9.24.07 LUSK FINISHES IN 3RD

lusk_slc

Tight jumps on the course meant that there was little to no room for error. Jeremy Lusk set the standard early in the run order with a sky high stack of backflip superman tricks and huge extensions on double grab and double grab indys. Making every jump was a big deal but with the technical course and light winds, it wasn’t as easy as it looked. In the end Jeremy finished in third just behing fellow Mulisha rider Todd Potter. This was Jeremy’s best finish at a Dew Tour stop this season placing him in 4th place overall.

9.24.07 PLG WINS

In a stunning “come from behind” scenario, PLG went from last place to first place in his final run of the day at the AST Dew Tour in Salt Lake City this past weekend. Lasek placed 2nd and White finished in 3rd. This victory launched PLG into 2nd place overall in points just ahead of Burnquist and Lasek, and although White still has the lead, PLG is right behind. This was PLG’s forth contest win in a row. Besides the usual Dew Tour loot, PLG also won Utah’s “State Of Sport” award for come-back win, which was only awarded to one athlete of the entire tour stop. Later that night, PLG promptly got kicked off the plane, for wanting to carry his skateboard on the flight. Congratulations PLG.

9.21.07 PLG QUALIFIES 1ST

PLG_SLC

With the fourth stop of the Dew Tour underway in Salt Lake City it was PLG who qualified first in prelims. The vert final will be held on Sunday, so stay tuned to see if PLG can follow up his Mexico X-Games win earlier this month with another 1st place finish. Currently PLG is in 5th place overall, but a win on Sunday could change all of that.
