Moving on to the much anticipated Pro Elite | Strike Force event Frank Shamrock vs Phil Baroni headlined the card with Cung Le vs Tony Frkland co headlining. Cung Le MMA’s newest standout used every trick in the book to hammer down the hard hitting Tony Frykland. Withexplosive side, axe, roundhouse and push kicks, Cung put on a clinc on how to really “kick someones ass” It was the side liver kick that eventually TKO’d Frykland in the third round. The 20,000 people in attendance went bananas when the the main event unfolded, the old guard vs new guard. Frank Shamrock the former UFC champion retired in 1999 only to come back and demolish everything in front of him.first it was Ceaser Gracie then Renzo Gracie and finally Phil Baroni. Even with a torn ACL Shamrock brutalized for two round until he put him to sleep with a rear naked choke.
