I don't go on youtube much when I'm listening to music, which is almost always. I'm sitting on my velvet couch listening to records in my living room, I thought I'd choose the video my good friends Wyldlife just put out. I find it funny, maybe because they are my bros but either way the song is radical. The singer Dave Feldman rules! He rips on a skateboard and has always been a huge support of Foundation skateboards. You can see a foundation poster hanging in the house in the video. If you like this video go buy their record! It is really good rock n roll music, make sure you play it loud!
When it comes to writing about myself I dont know what to say. I think it is so much easier if some one was to ask me questions about my part, life or what socks i like to wear. I chose this part because it felt natural. I like this part and I think it shows off the way I skate best. I like to go fast and have a good time doing it. I think this show cases my attitude towards skateboarding. You can see me smiling when I land, eating shit, and trying my hardest to land a trick that has gotten me scared to death. Most of this part was filmed in 2006 and 2007. I wasn't filming for a video part, I was just out skating a lot. I had no other worries in life, I just wanted to skate and listen to rock n roll, maybe eat as many burgers possible and hang out with babes too. All I was focused on was skateboarding, my body felt great and I was 23 years young so I didnt have the body pains i do have now. i had no major foot injuries, so i was able to go out and jump every day. A lot of this part was filmed in SD and the southwest, and not to forget my stomping grounds the SF bay area. I did a lot of tricks in this part for the first time on film, I was learning tricks at the spot. So I really dig this part for reasons like that, I can watch it and remember the struggle of learning the trick. All the slams and brutality that goes into making a trick at times. I ended up skating to a song by Dead Moon, I was really stoked on that, I thought it fit me well and how can you not like good rock n roll. I had a lot of other great songs in mind, but this is the one I decided to stick with. On youtube there are some alternate edits I've posted before with the other song options. Lucky for him the city recently opened the gates to the new Alex Road Skate Park. Austin's smooth style, amplitude, & consistency have put him on the map in the competitive bowl ranks over the last couple of years & it's always sick watching him do his thing in brand new terrain...Austin blasts!
