ESPN will celebrate its 16th annual action sports event entirely downtown between the STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre, the Los Angeles Coliseum and L.A. LIVE.

The 2010 event marks the seventh consecutive year that the X Games will take place in Los Angeles. Thirty-one hours of live HD programming on ESPN and ESPN2 will be aired over the four days of the event, as well as on ESPN International, ESPN.com\action, ESPN Classic, ESPN3.com, and SportsCenter.

When in Rome Leticia killed it winning the street and bowl contest.

 

Just wanted to send an update of what I have been up to.  This season I have been competing on the tour, but spending most of my time focusing on filming and shooting photo’s.  WSR began our season filming with Keith Kipp for Pull on Fuel TV, which will air later this year.  Also, we have been very busy traveling to several lakes in California shooting with Spencer Smith and Rodrigo Donoso. The last two weeks, I was in Canada for the LF team trip then  to Jamstock in Kamloops, Canada for our annual Monster houseboat team trip. Between traveling, contest, and clinics, here are a few projects I have in the works.

As for the all girls contest I have been planning, this year was difficult because of all the budget cuts.  I am currently organizing the contest to be held next spring in Mission Bay, San Diego or Lake Elsinore for the wake session, and Carlsbad Lagoon for the rail Jam.  

Another project I’ve been exited to work on is a website called Mahfia.com.  My good friend Kim Woo is launching the site the 23 of this month.  It is a legit all girls action sports site, with interaction with the fans and includes many media outlets for athletes and their sponsors.  There will be current video’s and photo’s updated daily.  If sponsors need any photo’s or video’s of their female athletes and need them on hand quickly, Mahfia can shoot photo’s or film and edit short video’s. The purpose of the website is to create more opportunities for all female athletes.
