We'll the first annual "Getting Awesome" BMX jam and party went off amazingly well. We spent weeks building up the backyard- huge thanks to my dad, Dan McCann, Wacker, AJ Anya and Danny Leahy. We started around 12pm at my house and more and more people came every minute. There was a great variety of riders and people just hanging out having a good time to make it an awesome day. Ryan Nyquist, Eddie Cleveland and Cameron Birdwell were all there just to name a few. It felt like some of the old days at the San Jose Ramp Club. Everyone was super phsyched on the new set up and the riding got more insane as the day went on. At around 7pm we closed it down and gave out prizes to everyone. Including Wacker who recieved the "Getting Awesome" award for his on and off the bike antics and Little Adam for youngest shredder at the jam. As night fell everyone transfered over to Thee Parkside Lounge, an awesome Bar/Concert Venue here in San Francisco. Tons of people showed up for the after party for one of the most amazing nights ever. My 2 bands Laughing Demon and The Uproar opened the show, and flying in all the way from Washington D.C. was Rattler that headlined the show and pretty much the reason the party happened. Id like to thank my Mom and Dad for putting up with everything haha, Wacker! Osiris, SRH Clothing, Jetset Energy and everyone who came out can't wait to do it all again real soon!
VitalBMX just posted a video of Marcus Tooker and Alan Cooke. Check it out as Marcus and Alan hit some NC parks and even go for a ride in a monster truck.
Osiris Shoes is proud to announce the addition of Darryl Tocco and Josh Betley to the BMX team.
Hailing from Lindendold, New Jersey, Darryl Tocco has gained recognition in recent times for his sections in Transworld Ride BMX's video Insight and TwoByFour's self titled video. When he's not riding, Darryl spends a lot of time behind the camera himself and is currently finishing up Kink's new video, Safety First, which he also has a full section in. In addition to Osiris, Darryl rides for Kink Bikes and TwoByFour Store.
Josh Betley is originally from the greater Phoenix, Arizona area and is best known for his incredibly creative and innovative technical style of riding. Josh had a section in Odyssey Electronical and is probably best known for his numerous online videos on VitalBMX.com. He's currently keeping busy filming a section for Felt Bikes and making a move to Las Vegas, NV. In addition to Osiris, Josh rides for Felt Bikes, Odyssey, Cerbae, and Global Bike Shop.
You can check out bios of both Darryl and Josh on the site.

Demos can be so much fun when you're with a good group of people and are on decent ramps. In this case, it's the New York State Fair with the Maximum Velocity guys (and gal). Having a good size vert ramp, spine, box jump and quarterpipe to ride all day makes all the difference when you're away from home for two weeks. It also doesn't hurt when bands like Def Leppard, Journey and Cheap Trick play in the evenings.
I just got back from a pretty exciting trip up the northern part of the West Coast. I spent a few days in the San Francisco area with some friends, and rode the Lake Cunningham skatepark, which was absolutely amazing. I also hung out in Santa Cruz for a day, mostly down on the boardwalk, which is always a fun time. From there, we drove up towards Portland, Oregon stopping at cement parks along the way. We rode some pretty fun ones, lots of carving and hips to jump. Finally we made it to Portland for Dew Tour. The contest was pretty crazy. Now I'm back in Greenville just trying to relax between riding and school. That's pretty much it for now.
