By know you probably know that this is not true, but John did qualify 1st with an amazing, crowd pleasing run. The good folks at Skaterboarder Magazine were kind enough to pass John’s run along to us. John rips. Filmed by Sara Castillo. Check out the latest edition of Pete’s picks! Killian, Johnny, and Matt made the cut. Check out Transworld Surf for the rest of Pete’s picks.
Killian Garland had what he called "the best trip of my life" down in Old Mexico. Maybe it was because Uncle Justin taught him how to properly pour a beer from a tap--that or the perfect waves we got.
Johnny Craft was also on the Royal Pelagic trip with us. Here he is in between bronzing sessions on the deck of the boat.
I wonder how many airs Matt Rockhold does in a week? Probably more than you and I do in a year.
Flow rider Colin Hale will be featured in the upcoming video release, Floorwork. With the first stop of the Dew Tour happening in June, Jeff “Ox†Kargola and Ryan Hagy have been out practicing and getting ready for the competition. This past weekend while out riding, OX was able to learn yet another variation of the backflip. This guy is on a roll. Were not sure what this one will be called yet, but it looks like a backflip indy. Keep checking for more updates, and be sure to check out OX, Hagy, and all of the other Osiris FMX riders in the Dew Tour.
It’s that time of year again. The Tampa Pro contest has once again come and gone. John Rattray, Clint Peterson, and PLG, along with marketing director Mike Fitzgerald, made their way to Florida to skate and have a good time. Everyone skated well throughout the weekend, and in the end John placed 8th and Clint placed 16th in the street competition, while Gailea placed 2nd in the best trick contest with a sick nollie heel back tail down the hubba. PLG won the vert contest, and Mike Fitzgerald tried his hand at the annual team manger contest and placed a very respectable 12th place. For full story and complete results check out the Skatepark of Tampa website.
