Garland: Las Vegas Marathon 26.2 miles.
Peyton Blakley: What is the best party city you have ever been to?
Garland: Anywhere with cheap beer and live music, Nashville was the latest.
Blaze Bastin: How long did it take you to grow that beard?
Garland: 3 years.

Garland: Learning how to flip. Zachary Steven Bowyer: 2-stroke or 4-stroke? Garland: Growing up on 2 strokes, I'd never thought I'd say this but I love my 4 stroke!

Arnold Gasca: How's a good way to start freestyle motocross?
Garland: Work hard and try your best, don't give up.
Randy Stephens: What advice would you give to someone learning how to jump?
Garland: Spend a lot of time on your bike, get to know how it reacts off small jumps then go big.
Oskar Riske: Derek, are you sometimes scared when you're riding?
Garland: Sometimes, but I try not to think about it. Haha. The risk is always worth the reward.
Ian Bowman: How do you make your cut-outs so nice, smooth, and even????? I always seem to find a way to make mine f'd up in some sort of way, no matter how I take my time. Any tips?
Garland: I use a hair dryer to heat the surface, then cut with a razor blade
Daniel Garibaldi: If you were not part of Metal Mulisha or riding a bike what would you wanna do career wise?
Garland: I would like to be a pilot, or a pirate.

Garland: Rock/country/metal little bit of everything.
