Catching Up With Ronnie Faisst



Ronnie Faisst, one of the true founding fathers of freestyle motocross, has had tremendous success throughout his career. Faisst is a Two-Time X-Game Bronze Medalist and has competed in 12 X Games Events.
Faisst recently placed third overall at the 2010 Dew Tour. He also won one silver medal and two additional bronze medals during his run in the Gravity Games. Faisst has competed in over 60 FMX events worldwide throughout the 11 years he's been competing.
How did you begin riding motocross/freestyle motocross?
Rick Johnson and David Bailey were my favorite riders growing up and Bruce Lee was my hero.
What is your greatest achievement since your career began?
Being a part of pioneering freestyle motocross in 1997 and still doing what I love.
Do you have any superstitions or pre-performance rituals?
I always pray before I get on my bike.
What did your family think when you told them you were joining the Nuclear Cowboyz tour?
They always support what I do. They are pumped!
What do you like to do during your time off from performances?
I like to ride my truck, play drums, work out, hunt with my dad and hang out with my friends.
