4.5.10 VERA JANSSEN
After a crazy 4-day drive from Whistler, we finally arrived at the Thompson Pass Parking Lot that will be our Alpine home base for the next two weeks, and I got my favorite shred-buddy up here: big mountain freestyler Dave Short ! We are camping in our motor home next to legends like Nick Perata, Shawn Farmer, Mike Basich, as well as Travis Rice, Mark Landvik, and Eric Themel.
After 10 years, the OG’s decided to bring back the King Of The Hill contest and I competed in it yesterday. Even though I took a crash on my sled and my entire body is purple and swollen, there was no way I was gonna pass up on the opportunity of being part of this legendary snowboard event.
